I've been knee-deep in technology for far too long. It's been 20 years of either sitting in a cubicle, developing web sites and software apps, or it's been sitting in my chair in a poorly-lit room, developing web sites and software apps. It's ironic because I don't even know how I got into doing this. I didn't go to school for it. I didn't set out to be a programmer or mad scientist. It just kind of happened. I feel like a part of me has forgotten how to imagine.
It's time to recharge!
What could I paint that I could connect with? When it comes down to it, "You may have noticed I'm not all there, myself", so Alice in Wonderland became instant inspiration for creating a series of paintings that I could express myself with. Ten paintings, in my own style, are going to be created this year. That is my challenge. That is my outlet.
You can check out the site where I keep all of my art together. You can see progress and order prints and merchandise if you like my work and would like to support me. Check it out at www.simplyimpassible.com.
Anyway, this post was meant to be short. I've got some painting to do.
